Country pub with traditional local cuisine and an authentic old inn atmosphere. Enjoy a wonderful dining experience from the a la carte menu or weekly specials board.
Located within a 400-year-old Cheshire-brick roadside Inn. On a quite road just off the A49, in the heart of the Cheshire countryside.
There’s a tap room which welcomes walkers and their dogs, the bar room itself is tiny with an open log fire.
The bar is surrounded by a warren of small intimate Dining rooms and passageways. The main dining room opens onto a terrace overlooking the pub’s own crown bowling green, with its wall heated by the sun, one can sit comfortable late into the evening.
The owners are English and Austrian, who offer a warm and personal welcome to all visitors and serve cuisine that offers a continental touch.
