All Saints Church in Daresbury features a 16th century font, 17th century pulpit and a memorial window to Lewis Carroll designed by Geoffrey Webb. Daresbury is the birthplace of Lewis Carroll. A 17th century carved wooden screen behind the altar contains a good example of a 'Green Man' and an 18th century acrostic in the bell tower is of great interest. There is also an 18th century embriodery depicting the church as it was circa 1710 - completely worked in human hair.
Leave the M56 at jct 11, follow signs for Daresbury travelling north on A56 for half a mile, exit right.
